Overview

Here at Hive Creative, we're looking for a Graphic Designer to join our creative design team. We're looking for someone with a portfolio that demonstrates creative excellence. Of course, fantastic design and typography for websites, social posting, and other visual communications—showing how to use design to solve potential issues a client might have through your execution.

Qualified candidates

  • The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work demonstrating their passion for illustrative design and typography. In addition, this candidate will have experience working with web graphics, branding identity, and print-ready files.
  • Producing Graphics for different types of demographic per branding identity
  • Understanding the branding voice for Hive Creative and establishing it through design
  • Create visually compelling logos, designs, print, and digital media
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends
  • Reviewing client-provided assets for ways to improve the overall design while continuing with the branding identity

What you'll do

Essential Functions

  • BA degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred.
  • Will also accept work experience for the right candidate
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and XD is a plus
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
  • Portfolio of work
