Overview

Here at Hive Creative, we're looking for a Copywriter to join our creative design studio. We're looking for someone with a portfolio that demonstrates creative excellence. Of course, fantastic copywriting for websites, social posting, and other communications—displaying how to communicate in different tones per client's branding effectively. Understanding how to to write with SEO in mind is a HUGE plus!

Who are you

Qualified candidates

will have a Bachelors' Degree in Journalism, English, or a related degree or a field relevant to the essential functions of the above job description for a minimum of 2 years of copywriting experience in an agency or marketing type environment.

  • Possess strong and effective writing skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft word, familiarity with Adobe Suite, and some XD experience.
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others
  • Must be detail-oriented and can work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision

What you'll do

Essential Functions

  • Collaborating with our team on different software platforms to help produce a fluid workflow
  • The ability to work with other media types, everything from web, social, and print type deliverables
  • Joining meetings to collaborate creative ideas on different platforms
  • Producing copy for different types of demographic per branding voice
  • Understanding the branding voice for Hive Creative and establishing it through compelling copy
  • Proofreading client-provided assets for errors and copy suggestions to improve overall voice

Other Responsibilities

  • Remain current on market trends and research client's market to provide proper terms in association with client's business
  • Accept and complete projects and other assigned duties by the director in a timely manner
